Finding "Kairos" for a Working

The vast majority of magical rites require little that is too complicated in the way of astrological preparation - you might want to ensure that you're working in a waxing phase of the moon - in the Ogdoadic tradition we might ensure that we're not working in Tempus Eversionis. But preparing an astrological talisman along the lines set out in the Picatrix, for example, means trying to find the perfect moment in the sky, and that can be laborious.

I've put together a tool called "Kairos" (Greek / "Timing" - implying the proper timing for something), and it does the job. Enter the planetary election that you're looking for, and the system will work forwards from the current date (or another - you can change that), looking for the next occasions when it will occur.

Some won't happen soon, and you'll be told, and you can expand the search window out to 30 or 100 years. But for most cases, waiting 100 years should not be necessary. :-)
